The key to the success of Bilston Operatic Company is its members. This is ultimately a hobby but for everyone involved it is also a passion; there is no greater thrill than to entertain. We believe that if you are enjoying yourself the hard work it takes to put on shows and concerts becomes a lot easier and the sense of achievement everyone feels after a performance is unbelievable!

Membership
Membership of Bilston Operatic Company is for people aged 14 years and above. (There is no upper limit with several members in their 70s!). If performing on stage is not for you but you still want to be part of the buzz of a theatre group, Non-Acting Membership offers many opportunities including front of house, backstage, wardrobe and chaperoning roles.
We pride ourselves in being a warm, welcoming and friendly society with many mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, sisters, brothers and cousins as acting and non-acting members. It doesn’t matter if you don’t know anyone before joining, you soon will, and many members have become lifelong friends.
